Rebecca Monro is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Executive Education at the Carlson School of Management. In this position, she strengthens Executive Education’s position in the marketplace as a source of thought leadership and practical business skill development. She works with an engaged network of senior executives from the local business community who are interested in learning from both Carlson School thought leaders and their own peers. Rebecca was previously the Associate Director of the Institute of Research in Marketing, where she was instrumental in its launch and development and helped to bring national recognition to the school’s marketing faculty. Prior to her work with the Institute for Research in Marketing, Rebecca was instrumental in the development of major gifts for the Minnesota Medical Foundation and other nationally known nonprofit organizations. A passionate community advocate, she has been an active member of Seward Co-op’s Board of Directors since 2004, currently serving as treasurer. Rebecca earned her M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management in 2007.
