Roasted & Salted Whole Cashews

Try the roasted and salted whole cashews in our Bulk department. Full cashew flavor, salted just right and priced less than you might think. A must have for parties, gatherings, all three meals and the requisite snacks in between! Great mixed with popcorn and/or chocolate or in spicy stir fries. – Leo, Operations Manager

 
 
Moroccan Beef Stew

Serves 6

2 ½ pounds stew meat
1 large onion, chopped
1 large red pepper, chopped
2 medium potatoes, chopped
1 15 oz. can. diced tomatoes
¼ cup ginger, minced
2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
¼ cup dried apricot, chopped
¼ cup currant
1 tsp. cayenne
¾ tsp. clove
¾ tsp. allspice
¾ tsp. cinnamon
1 15 oz. can garbanzo beans
Sea salt to taste
2 quarts filtered water
1 6oz. tomato paste
¼ cup olive oil

Cook stew meat in 1 quart of water until tender (this will take at least 2 hours). Save any meat juices for stew.

Saute ginger, garlic, and yellow onion in olive oil until soft. Add red pepper, potatoes, dried fruit, spices, diced tomatoes, garbanzo beans, stew meat, and any beef juices saved. Add water as needed to thin out. Cook until potatoes are tender. Season with salt. Is great with couscous.
