We are excited to introduce Global Mamas as a new P6 product line at Seward Co-op! Global Mamas is a non-profit, fair trade organization started in Minneapolis in 2003. Today, they work with 627 women (and a few men) in Ghana to produce beautifully batiked textiles and accessories.

Global Mamas is supported by Women In Progress (WIP), an international non-profit that connects volunteers and interns with women of Ghana to provide skills and resources. All proceeds from Global Mamas products go directly to the women producing the merchandise and to programs that assist in expanding their business.


 
Here at Seward Co-op, we carry Global Mamas' aprons, potholders, cotton napkins, wallets and card holders. All products are sustainably made and are vibrant in color and design.
