Maple Leaf Smoked Gouda

This Wisconsin gouda is naturally smoked to perfection and absolutely delicious on crackers and sandwiches. It's also very affordable, so go ahead and grab that big ol' piece, you won't regret it. - Shelly, Cheese

 
 
Chocolate Liqueur Banana Bread

Chef: Jason Lund

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
Salt to taste (approximately 1 tsp.)
3/8 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
3 ripened bananas mashed with a fork
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon
1 1/2 cups walnut pieces
3 jiggers/4 shots chocolate liqueur

Method
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pour dry ingredients into a bowl. Cream 1/4 cup butter slowly adding sugar, then the egg. Beat until smooth. Add bananas and milk. Caramelize walnuts in fry pan using butter and brown sugar. Add walnuts to bowl, then add chocolate liqueur. Pour into bread pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Let cool and taste the love! Yield: 1 loaf.
